How to equip a place for collecting secondary raw materials?
You can equip a place to collect recyclable materials both for one type of waste (for example, only waste paper) and for all types of waste available for delivery. We do not limit you in the choice of recyclable materials for delivery, as well as the number of containers for garbage collection.
Containers for garbage collection must be located in a place where it is possible to access the cargo transport of the carrier's company.
It is advisable to have containers with a waterproof lid or place them under a canopy to avoid rain getting into the containers.
When transporting the company's recyclables, carriers weigh them and then load onto transport. The most convenient way of weighing is to place a big-bag inside the tank. With the help of a manipulator, the machine pulls out the big bag from the container, weighs the garbage, pours the contents into the body and returns the empty big bag to the container.
In order for the carriers to be ready to buy yours
garbage, it is very important to follow the following criteria:
Every type of garbage must be collected in separate containers.
Example: bottles from household chemicals or white milk bottles cannot be thrown into the PET-1 container.
Do not mix garbage of different types
Separate the caps and labels
Do not throw the wrong type of
garbage into the container
twist
Wash it
Example: do not put used toilet paper or napkins in the container with waste paper.
Do not place food or drink residues
and other contaminants
in the garbage container
Carriers will easily remove the big bag from the container with the help of a manipulator, weigh it, load it into the body and return the big bag to the container.
Garbage from containers should be easily accessible for weighing
and unloading.
For this purpose, we recommend
using big bags.
How to organize a place with big bags:
What to do if big bags cannot be installed indoors for aesthetic reasons?
You can put plastic or cardboard boxes (put plastic bags inside), from which the recyclables can then be poured into big-bags located in the technical room.
